The Opportunity

DIESEL TECHNICIAN II

In this role, you’ll perform advanced preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and complex repairs on both tractor and trailer units. You’ll ensure all work meets DOT, state, federal, and company standards while maintaining accurate maintenance records and supporting inventory control.

  • Location: St. Paul, MN
  • Wednesday–Friday 5:30AM - 4:00PM; Saturday 4:30AM - 3:00PM
  • Hiring Range: $28.53 - $39.93/hr (starting pay within this range will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of tractor maintenance experience
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting abilities across tractor and trailer systems
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, computerized instrumentation, and maintenance documentation
  • ABS brake system certification
  • Eligibility for Minnesota State DOT inspector certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
  • Ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation
